The Second and Third Rule of Manifestation

The paradox of manifestation is that it is based on free will but also includes a certain degree of determinism. Technically, you can take on the universe and imagine into existence the dreams your mind has about your life. It works to a certain degree and the power that we feel while doing it is amazing. While we experience our ability to bend the universe, we get more and more blind to the fact that forcing the universe to our will might get the results our mind dreams of but it won’t buy us happiness, joy, and bliss. For that to achieve we need to surrender.

The first rule of manifestation: Surrender to the fact that you cannot imagine your full life.

I established this first rule of manifestation in the last post about this topic a couple of weeks ago. It is the realization that you cannot imagine your ideal life. What sounds counterintuitive is quite logical at least for those of us on the path of growth. My past self wouldn’t have been able to imagine the beautiful life I am living now and it sure couldn’t have made up the script that led me to that life. If that’s the case why should it now be any different with my current self?

To manifest your best life it is necessary to let go of the illusion that we can plan that - it is about letting go of the details and trusting that our full lives will be ten times more amazing than our wildest dreams. If you want to get into more detail, please read part one:

After this little reminder comes the part that took me a while to figure out: How much individual pressure do we put on things that we want to achieve and how do we know that it is aligned with what the universe has in store for us? If you are contemplating manifestation then you know the problem: our wishes, actions, and desires need to be in alignment with the universal flow but to achieve our goals we still need to show initiative. How much initiative is too much? How much is not enough?
